The Briar Patch RV Park story began with a couple of outdoor enthusiasts with a dream to pursue a new direction in life. As a lifelong dream to share the outdoor experience with others, we set off on a journey fueled by a love for the RV lifestyle and a desire to fill a growing need in the community. Discovering the scarcity of campsites for the ever-growing population of RV lovers, the inspiration to develop a new haven became clear. This adventure lead to the establishment of The Briar Patch RV Park in the Santee Cooper Country!
At first, the property was nothing but red briar for as far as the eye could see. Naming it was the easiest part! Navigating the challenges that came next was trickier, but with a little bit of Southern charm and a whole lot of heart - the dream came true.
This park is not just a place to stay; it's a community born from a vision of sustainable living and a passion for the great outdoors. Here, every visitor is more than just a guest - they're part of a family brought together by the shared joy of adventure and the beauty of nature.
Spread across 11 acres, our park features 90 spacious 30’x50’ RV sites, each equipped with full hookups including water, sewer, and electricity.
